Cool Route named No.1 Most Adventurous Destination for Superyachts

Cool Route has been named the No. 1 of the 6 most adventurous destinations for superyachts by the prestigious Boat International superyacht specialists followed by Antarctica, Madagascar, Borneo, Ningaloo Reef in Australia and finally Greenland. These destinations are the cream of the crop when it comes to new and unique superyacht cruising experiences. Cool Route coming out on top of the list firmly places the Cool Route on the map when it comes to superyacht itineraries, we can expect to see many more superyachts in the future.

Boat International is the global authority in superyachting, celebrating the yachts and the life that comes with them through their unique environment and it’s unrivalled access. They publish the world’s best superyacht magazines and luxury books, organise high quality events, and provide digital media services and data to owners and professionals in the superyacht industry.

Boat International products are targeted to deliver buyers, sellers and operators of superyachts to builders, brokers and service companies that operate within the global superyacht market across all media types. The Cool Route cruising grounds are among the most attractive globally and can compete with traditional cruising grounds in the Mediterranean and other destinations which is why the route has come to the attention of Boat International. This accolade is testament to the demand on the market for new and exciting unique new cruising grounds for superyachts.

This is an excellent opportunity for the Cool Route to welcome superyacht adventurers and showcase the truly magnificent cruising grounds on offer from Cork, on the South of Ireland, to Western and Northern Ireland, on to Western Scotland and then to the Faroe Islands and Tromsø in Western Norway. The Cool Route is one of the most unique and visually stunning cruising routes in the world, perfect for superyacht adventures.

Recently the Royal Cork Yacht Club, which is the oldest  yacht club in the world, developed a new publication aimed at promoting the Cool Route as a world class superyacht destination. Royal Cork Yacht Club has experience in hosting superyacht visitors and has recognised this award as an important opportunity that will have great benefits for the rest of the Cool Route destinations in attracting superyachts.
